Having secured Degree Awarding Powers in September 2022, Spurgeon’s College is in the process of delivering its strategic plan of becoming a Baptist University.
As part of this strategic plan, the College is looking to recruit an Academic Director, who would be part of the Senior Management Team.
The College is looking to appoint a dynamic individual to provide academic management and leadership within the College, especially as it seeks university status and research degree awarding powers. The candidate will have the opportunity to teach and to have one day a week ring fenced for research.
The candidate will be expected to participate fully in the life of the College community.
It is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a Christian.
