Job Title: Tutor in Theology (Church History/Doctrine)

Location: Spurgeon’s College, 189 South Norwood Hill, London SE25 6DJ

Salary: £33,900 per annum

Spurgeon's College has a worldwide reputation for its work in Christian theological education. Its mission is to provide Christ-centred, biblically-rooted training in discipleship for the practice of mission and ministry.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to equip a new generation of men and women for mission and ministry by using the fruit of your research to shape people’s thinking in this area of Christian theology.

Main Duties: This role will teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as taking a full part in the life of the College community and the development of men and women for mission and ministry. There will also be opportunities to engage regularly in writing and research.

Person Specification:  We are seeking a well-qualified individual to take up this important post who has already achieved a doctorate. The post holder should also belong to a Church in membership with the Baptist Union or an ecumenical body such as Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) or an evangelical grouping such as the Evangelical Alliance (EA) and have an active interest in training men and women for mission and ministry
