Salary:                  £33,900 pro rata fixed term basis for 24 months for 3 days per week (22.5 hours)

 Spurgeon’s College is seeking a visionary, experienced course developer to help in the creation of a new suite of training and formational modules in missional leadership.  If you would like to see people equipped to help churches navigate the changing times in which we live, then this role is for you.

 You will not only have experience in higher education course development but will also have been involved in creative mission practice in or beyond the inherited structures of church.

 Spurgeon’s College aims to develop a suite modules specifically designed and tailored for those within our Baptist Family, and beyond, who sense a call to Pioneer ministry and for those labouring in a Pioneer role without official recognition/validation.  Working with Pioneer practitioners and key stakeholders within both the Baptist and wider Christian family, the Course Developer will have a critical role in developing this exciting missional project.    

 We are looking to recruit someone to start April/May 2019.  The Course Developer will be responsible for the development of the Missional Leadership, Theology and Practice pathway, researching and writing appropriate modules and developing course content, ensuring that all elements are drawn together appropriately and referenced against the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications.  They will work in close collaboration with the academic staff at the College, in particular the Academic Director and the Director of Undergraduate Studies.  The successful candidate will be expected to work three days per week.     

 There is a genuine occupational requirement for the Course Developer to be a Christian.
