Vice Chair of Governors

Married to Gill, a music teacher. 4 children, all married, and 6 grandchildren. Retail Management trained with John Lewis Partnership. BA in Theology, Spurgeon’s College ’77-’81 plus Diploma in Pastoral Theology; Minister of Rye Baptist Church ’81-’90; whilst at Rye BC Stuart served as Association Youth Officer. It was also his privilege to serve as Sussex Baptist Association President.

Stuart was a Missioner for Sussex Baptist Association ’90-’95; Minister of Maghull Baptist Church, Liverpool ‘95-2007; Regional Minister SEBA 2007-09; RM Team Leader 09-present and has ministered variously in Australia, South Africa, Romania, Poland, Hungary, USA, France, Kenya, GB and N Ireland He is currently a Governor at Spurgeon’s College and Trustee of South Eastern Baptist Association.

Stuart has also enjoyed working with various radio stations including BBC Radio Sussex and BBC Radio Merseyside, Premier Radio, Hour of Revival and being a DJ on a weekly show on Radio Luxembourg. He has made several national TV broadcasts with Granada ‘My Favourite Hymns’, worked with Ann Birkham on ‘Protect Christmas Day’, meeting the Secretary of State at the Home Office, which led to the Christmas Day (Trading) Act 2004.

A small link to fame is that his cousin is Gary Pallister, TV pundit and former central defender for Manchester United FC and England.
