After studying Psychology at university and taking the obligatory year out backpacking, Clive embarked on a career in market research. Over the next 20+ years Clive became a Director and Partner at two of the country’s leading research agencies and worked with many of the UK’s top brands and business as well as numerous government departments and agencies.
Looking for a fresh and more rewarding challenge, Clive joined Spurgeon’s in 2020 as Head of Regulation & Transformation. He supports all teams and departments throughout the College in meeting their regulatory requirements as well as working on ad hoc projects to help the College meet its strategic objectives and ensure its values are upheld throughout.
In his spare time he enjoys playing ‘modern’ board games, country walks, watching and reading sci-fi, watching football and American football and spending time with his teenage children; when they deem him cool enough to hang out with.
