Technology

We provide a number of Windows™ computers for students to use, and have specific areas in the Cloisters and the Library for computer work on your own equipment in peace and quiet.  You may, of course, work in any of the student areas in college as we have strong and fast WiFi access throughout the site.  In fact, the WiFi network is specifically designed for students who prefer to stay on the move and use tablets and smartphones!

The college’s photocopiers allow you copy to the common paper sizes. You may also print from any of the College computers. The costs are minimal and credit can be added to your account at reception. The machines can also scan and email documents directly to your own student email account, helping to cut down on wasted paper and energy costs while adding convenience for you.

Catering

The Charles Haddon Cafe is based in the main building and serves a variety of light refreshments and snacks. The cafe is open Monday to Friday (7.30am – 3pm) during term time. The College’s culinary needs are provided by Charlton House, which was established in 1991 and provides catering for some of the nation’s top companies.

Relaxing & socialising

The student lounge is a great place to relax and unwind at break times or in the evening. As well as comfy sofas and and tables for informal dining, it has a large television screen which can be hooked up to a laptop or tablet for streaming movies or TV.

The newly landscaped gardens are the perfect place to grab a moment of peace in-between lectures and we have a large area of woodland to explore.

There is a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby in Croydon or Crystal Palace. Plus there is a wealth of social opportunities available in Central London, which  is just a short train ride away via London Bridge.
