Chair of Governors
Sarah King has been a governor since 2010 and Chair of Governors since 2012. She is a member of Chatsworth Baptist Church in South London and lives near the College. Sarah chairs the Nominations Group and is a member of the Governance Group and Finance and Audit and Risk Committees.
Sarah works as the Executive Director of the Association of English Cathedrals, which supports the work of the English Anglican cathedrals. Previously she was the Administrator (senior lay officer) at Southwark Cathedral from 1996 to 2005, a time of considerable change for the Cathedral with a major building project and growth in activity. Prior to that, Sarah worked for Lloyd’s of London, Thomas Cook, in banking operations for HSBC, and as a management consultant for Deloitte Haskins and Sells, the firm with which she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983.
