Job title: HEAD OF REGULATION AND TRANSFORMATION

Location: Spurgeon’s College, 189 South Norwood Hill, London SE25

Contract Length: Permanent

Hours: Part time 3 days a week (or 21 hour equivalent)

Salary:  £35,000 p.a. pro rata

Start date:  As soon as possible

We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable Head of Regulation and Transformation to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a new role within the College.

The role will be diverse and include responsibility for Home Office Regulation, Prevent Strategy, Data Protection, Health and Safety, Office for the Independent Adjudicator, Governance, and oversee the Compliance work (Officer for Students). In addition the role will undertake some special projects.

The role calls for a self-motivated and committed individual who has an eye for detail, is outcome focussed, has the ability to learn and apply new information effectively, and is fully adaptable in the range and type of projects they undertake. 

You will be accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and manage the Compliance Officer. Previous knowledge and experience of at least two of the regulatory functions is essential, and experience of working in higher education is desirable.
