Introduction to Counselling Course

We are now enrolling for our Introduction to Counselling course, which is a 25 hour part time evening class.  It could be useful to you if you are involved in helping others within your church, or if you use counselling skills in your work or you just want to learn how to listen effectively.

What are the Aims?

  • To enable you to learn basic counselling skills.
  • To raise awareness of key ethical issues.
  • To help you consider whether counselling is something you want to pursue further.

What does it consist of?

  • An overview of Counselling Skills.
  • A brief look at the three main approaches to Counselling.
  • Opportunities to practice counselling skills.
  • A consideration of Christian Counselling models.
  • A look at practical and ethical issues.

When is it?

Our next course is due to run in Autumn 2017

Classes run from 7pm - 9.45pm on the following Wednesday evenings:

  • September 27th
  • October 4th, 11th, 18th
  • November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
  • December 6th

Cost: £220 only
