Undergraduate study

Our desire at Spurgeon's College is that our students receive the preparation they need for mission and ministry, to learn more about God and to be well equipped leaders of the future. This means that as a student you will receive a good grounding in the Christian Scriptures and their implications for Christian faith today. You will also be helped to develop appropriate skills, confidence and personal qualities for engaging in leadership, communication and theological reflection.

The basic theme of Mission and Ministry runs like a core through all you will learn at the College.  There are basically two courses and four modes of study.

Four modes of study

Church-based leading to a Bachelor of Theology degree over three years

College-based leading to a Bachelor of Divinity degree over three years

One day a week (Mondays) leading to a Bachelor of Divinity degree over six years

Online learning leading to a Bachelor of Divinity degree by studying from home at your own pace for up to nien years
