Using Spurgeon's as a location for your meeting or conference
On the top of South Norwood Hill, Spurgeon’s College is a little oasis of calm and tranquillity in the hurly-burly of life in South London! Set in two acres of woodland and with fine views across the metropolis, Spurgeon’s provides a fine and historic setting for your meeting, conference or retreat day.
Our facilities include the chapel, 6 lecture rooms of varying sizes, the dining room and two other meeting rooms. The chapel seats 120 and the largest lecture rooms can accommodate 40 people. The College regularly receives bookings from churches and other groups for evening and weekend meetings and is also available to congregations who are looking for a home for their Sunday services.
With basic but clean study bedrooms, Spurgeon’s is also ideal for your summer school or residential conference. With good transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley, you can be at historic monuments or the shops in under an hour.
Come and visit and our friendly staff will show you why Spurgeon’s is the right location for your event.
