12th July 2010 - Cambridge Collections Online and Oxford Scholarship Online are now available to current students and staff outside the building via Spurgeon's Online. Log on there and go to the External Resources tab. 

8th July 2010 - The Reference Library windows have now been replaced. All the Reference Library books and commentaries have been moved into one sequence. Please ask if you are confused!

February 2010 - Longer opening hours! Following requests from the student body, the Library will remain open until 11pm on Mondays and Tuesdays in term time.

Opening hours are now:-

MondayTuesday 7.30am to 11pm

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday7.30am to 9.30pm

Saturday 9am to 9.30pm

Sunday closed

October 2009 - The Library has been running normally for the past 4 weeks. Most of the initial teething problems now seem to have been ironed out.

21st September 2009 - The Library is now up and running. Praise God. We have so much to be thankful for, not least that the project was completed on time. However there is still some fine-tuning to be done. Please note that from this week new opening hours are in operation. 

15th September 2009 - Last week all the books were brought back into the Library so the refurbishment project is almost complete. Once the computers have been set up, the Library will be open for business again, hopefully by Monday 21st September.

1st September 2009 - Last week the carpets were laid and today the new shelving is being installed. Everything is on track for the Library to reopen at the beginning of the new academic year.

June 2009 - Library Refurbishment starting June 22nd Please note that the whole Library will be COMPLETELY closed to all users (staff, students and visitors) for the whole of the Summer period as the Library is being totally refurbished. It will not reopen until mid-September.

May 2009 - PIN numbers for use with Heritage Online  - PINs have been sent out to all staff and students. If you have not received your PIN, please contact Judy Powles as you will not be able to view your loan record to renew/reserve books.

 November 2008 - You can now search on the Library catalogue for books on reading lists by keying in the Module number. For example key in MOD150 [NB no space between "MOD" and the number] and this will bring up the reading list for Module 150 Introduction to Mission.
